V0-xl Monoboard

The V0-xl is a very stable board that is quick edge to edge and has an excellent hold in all conditions.  The advantages of the V0-xl over the original V0 are similar to the advantages of traditional snow ski longer lengths over shorter lengths.  For a rider with the physical build for a longer effective riding edge, the V0-xl distributes the weight of a rider over a longer edge, for less drag and a faster ride.  Turning a longer edge, however, may be a more difficult task for a rider of slight build.

The V0-xl gives the quick response of a CODA carving board, while allowing for the possibility of the wash out familiar to those accustomed to old-school monoski slide technique.  But the primary goal of the V0-xl design is deep, high-speed carving. Like all our boards, the Deep V in the tail allows the tail to sink in the powder, effectively lifting the nose and making it rock out in the deep snow as no traditional tail monoski ever can.  It is built with extreme camber under foot for enhanced spring during carve transitions while a decambered nose helps with long, graceful carves.
